The NAU Vaagdevi chapter was founded in 2025 by NAU, who believed that Vaagdevi College deserved a space where mental health could be spoken about openly, honestly, and without judgment. What started as a small group initiative quickly grew into something far bigger than anyone expected.
I've always believed that the right conversation at the right time can change everything. NAU Vaagdevi started because I wanted our campus to be a place where those conversations were possible — for anyone, on any day.

Year founded
The Vaagdevi NAU chapter runs a full calendar of peer support, awareness, and community-building activities — designed specifically for the people of this campus and the community around it.
Mental Health Workshops: Interactive sessions on stress, resilience, emotional literacy, and self-awareness — practical well-being tools delivered in a warm, accessible format.
Awareness Campaigns: Campus-wide drives that bring mental health conversations into everyday spaces — from notice boards and social media to open events and community activations.
Expert Sessions: Guided conversations with psychologists, counsellors, and well-being professionals — making qualified mental health insight accessible to the entire campus community.
Leadership Development: Training, mentorship, and real responsibility for chapter volunteers — building empathetic, skilled community leaders from within the student body.
Community Outreach: Extending NAU's well-being work beyond campus — reaching faculty, families, and the wider Warangal community through events and digital initiatives.
“Every week, this chapter creates spaces where people can speak, listen, learn, and feel supported — together.”
